Aaron Neaves is the esteemed Founder and Director of May Health, where he leads a highly competent team of medical and allied health clinicians committed to providing superior mental health services. As a dedicated practitioner, Aaron's prime focus has always been to extend his wealth of knowledge in clinical psychology to facilitate the recovery and personal growth of his patients.

With expertise in an array of psychotherapy modalities, Aaron excels in addressing common adult mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and stress management. He is proficient in dealing with complex conditions including personality disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. His therapeutic approach ranges from brief interventions for immediate concerns to comprehensive, long-term psychotherapy for deeper relational or analytical needs.

In tandem with psychotherapy, Aaron is certified to conduct personality and vocational assessments and guidance. This unique service is tailored for individuals aspiring to deepen their self-understanding, recognise their interpersonal patterns, and identify their most suitable career trajectories.

Aaron earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the esteemed University of Adelaide. He is a professional member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), including the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Further extending his contributions to the field, Aaron has recently taken on the role of Host for the APS Clinical College podcast, 'Clinically Thinking', a platform through which he engages with both professionals and the public to discuss critical mental health issues.

In his ongoing commitment to his field, Aaron serves as the South Australian Chair of the APS Psychoanalytic Interest Group and has previously chaired the Headspace Northern Consortium. He is a familiar voice on ABC Radio Adelaide and is often invited for public and professional speaking engagements.

Private clients of Aaron are eligible for Medicare and Private Health rebates, making his invaluable services accessible to a broader population.

Away from his professional endeavours, Aaron cherishes a fulfilling family life with his wife and three young daughters. He is an enthusiastic tennis player, an avid reader, and a regular attendee at various arts and humanities events. This balance between his professional and personal life further enhances his approach to mental health treatment, making him a well-rounded and dedicated professional in his field.
